Mario Pavić is a Partner at Praljak & Svić Law Firm. He graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Law in 2018 and joined Praljak & Svić in 2019. He passed the Croatian Bar Exam in 2020, was admitted to the Croatian Bar Association in January 2022, and became a Partner in 2026.
Corporate and commercial law form the core of Mario’s practice. He provides ongoing legal support to domestic and international companies, including multinational corporations, across their day-to-day operations. This covers corporate governance and corporate restructuring, commercial contracts and employment matters. He also advises on M&A transactions.
A significant part of his work involves resolving disputes between companies, including cross-border disputes. He works on the premise that the outcome of a dispute is often shaped long before judgment. Through thorough preparation, a clear grasp of the client’s business objectives and a well-developed litigation strategy, he builds a position in which the opposing party, too, recognises its own interest in an out-of-court settlement. He is also active in sports law, advising professional athletes who rank among the very best in the world in their respective sports.
Mario embraces new technologies in legal practice, using them to deliver faster and more efficient service to clients without compromising on quality. He is committed to sharing his knowledge and experience with younger colleagues and takes an active part in the professional development of the firm’s trainee lawyers.
Mario works fluently in English on a daily basis.
