Vitorija Svić graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb. She did her internship at the County Court of Zagreb (today's Regional Court of Zagreb) and passed the bar exam in 1994. She spent the majority part of her professional career in the corporate world, on management positions within the legal department in a fast-growing regional company. She managed legal teams in acquisitions and restructurings, real estate purchases and retail project development.
In 2015, she started her own independent practice.
Vitorija's professional experience includes adivising in M&A transactions, corporate restructuring financing and implementation procedures of corporate governance best practices, and privatisations in Croatia and the region. She participated in multiple transactions which required knowledge of Croatian competition law, case - law of the Croatian Competition Agency and European case - law in the areas of merger control, vertical and horizontal agreements and antitrust. She participated in numerous due diligence processes, advised in matters of corporate bond issuance and negotiated and drafted documents for large transactions, including for listing stock on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
In her everyday work, Vitorija advises clients on regulatory issues, primarily in the area of financing and establishment of security and drafting of a variety of commercial contracts. Vitorija is proficient in English, but also uses Italian and French.
